Continuing work on http://ping.fm/eddOn today and tommrow, tutor training on Saturday I'll have to work hard to get relevant information online ready for the traing day. Were getting there the gallery will be an ongong developmet of display area for artists in the community classes to upload their work and reach a wider audience. It's not going to be fantasic overnight but intime it has appeal and impact.

Well alls well that ends well.
end of an Era, the journey in to retail just did not work out, all against us this year trade down to 40% of last year overall - who knows why ? bad weather, interest rates.... and a kite restriction looming ...
On the upside we are delivering more outdoor adventures activities in Snowdonia in 2008 and the coming years.

Out of the old shop but not without trouble.

As an after thought.... landlords ask for references of tenants - my experience of commercial rents an agreements.
Warning
Ask for and get copies of references about the landlord from past tenants before you sign on the dotted line with any landlord.
If we had done this we would not be in the bother we are with the old landlord and we not have taken on the shop, knowing what we know now about the landlord.
So ask for references from past tenants of the shop if you intend to rent a shop and above all read the contract, and always get correspondence in writing from the landlord confirming what has been agreed NEVER rely upon the word of any landlord, get it written down.
This day in age DO NOT accept a lease fore more than two years in duration no matter how tempted you are... you will be more responsible for the building than you should be......
